All The Single Ladies!

All the single ladies! All the single ladies…

Whether you JUST broke up or you’ve been single for a while, too many women miss out on a season of single-ness that’s better for their well-being than having someone to kiss. It’s a beautiful opportunity to get to know yourself and do what YOU want – chase YOUR dreams – do what makes YOU happy. Those things are VITAL to know because if you don’t know how to be alone, what are you going to do with someone else?

Your end goal isn’t a relationship. Your end goal isn’t marriage. Your end goal isn’t a white picket fence and five kids. Your end goal is to run toward the perfecter of the faith (Hebrews 12:1-3), citizenship in heaven (Philippians 3:20), an eternal relationship with the God who will never leave or forsake you (Matthew 10:30).

But maybe you’re too broken to enjoy this time yet. You are not alone in the pain you feel – that’s what’s so incredible about Jesus. He knows our pain and our temptation because He lived it.

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted ~Hebrews 2:18

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin. ~Hebrews 4:15

All of your friends may be engaged or married, but no matter WHAT – you absolutely are NOT alone in your singleness.

I pray the resources I share with you today meet you right where you are. I pray that you know you’re loved and you know it’s okay not to be okay sometimes. But I also hope you know that you won’t feel broken & alone forever.

My best advice to you, beautiful, is to pray in your pain, and worship in your suffering.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. ~Romans 5:3-4

Friend, you will get through this. You will become stronger; you will grow. I’ve found true joy in times of horrible pain, and I hope you will too. Joy comes from the Lord, happiness is from circumstances. When you understand the difference between joy and happiness, your life will be independent of hardship and dependent on the Lord’s provision. And I’ve got good news sister, His provision never ends!!!

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. As it is written,

“He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor;
    his righteousness endures forever.”

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. ~2 Corinthians 9:8-11

Sister, I’m rooting for you in this season and this race. I’m rooting for God to romance you beyond your wildest dreams & to show you true love in His perfect timing.
